Monarch Design Group is now accepting applications for its Spring 2025 Architecture & Interior Design Internship. This internship, located within walking distance from the UF Architecture Building,  is ideal for students pursuing a Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or exceptional undergraduate students finishing their final year). The part-time, paid internship focuses on Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Monarch is dedicated to providing an educational and hands-on experience that fosters growth and professional development. This position is not just an internship but a gateway to understanding the complexities and wonders of architectural design, interior design, and project execution.

Ideal Candidate:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Architecture, Interior Design or a closely related field
   (will also consider exceptional students in the final semesters of their Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit and other BIM software, essential for creating detailed architectural designs and documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to contribute both independently and as a part of a dynamic team.
• A proactive approach to learning and a keen interest in taking on responsibilities that influence real-world architectural outcomes.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to produce detailed construction documents and architectural drawings.
• Assist in all phases of project design, from schematic design sketches to detailed construction documentation.
• As needed, participate in client and team meetings to gain insights into project management and client relations.
• Support the design team in daily tasks, ensuring the highest quality of architectural standards are maintained in every project facet.
