Architectural Project Manager

BIM MANAGER

Role Overview:

As the Architectural BIM Manager at Monarch Design Group, you will be instrumental to our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of precision and quality. Your role involves a blend of technical expertise and project management, requiring a deep understanding of BIM processes and software, particularly Revit. You will lead the development and enforcement of BIM standards and protocols, ensuring all projects adhere to industry best practices. Collaboration with design teams, clients, and architects will be a key part of your role, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness throughout project lifecycles. Your responsibility will also include training and mentoring staff in BIM practices, as well as managing the BIM documentation and workflows. As a detail-oriented professional, your focus will be on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of BIM data across all projects. Your role is critical in driving the digital transformation of our design processes, ensuring Monarch Design Group remains at the forefront of architectural innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce BIM standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM coordinators on various projects.
  • Lead the implementation of BIM processes, ensuring efficient project delivery and quality control.
  • Manage and oversee BIM documentation, workflows, and project model life cycle development.
  • Liaise with design teams, clients, and architects to maintain project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to staff in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit.
  • Facilitate coordination between different BIM coordinators and oversee the project's technical aspects.
  • Generate monthly reports to senior management on the status and progress of BIM implementation.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management or a related field, with a preference for candidates proficient in Autodesk Revit.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Construction, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex projects in the built environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality and precision.
